Greenway Residential Development, LLC (GRD) was formed June 5, 2009 to fulfill its founder’s vision of developing, constructing and operating affordable and market rate housing communities in the Atlantic Seaboard and the Southeastern United States. The company was formed by the principals of Greenway Development Company, LLC, WXZ Development, Inc. and WXZ Construction, LLC. The leadership of GRD provides a uniquely comprehensive depth of experience in the development, construction and delivery of affordable single-family, multi-family and senior housing communities through their success in developing and constructing 162 communities comprising 9,532 units in Georgia, Indiana, Ohio, Michigan, North & South Carolina, Texas and Virginia.

Greenway Residential Development currently has twenty-three tax credit communities comprising 1,659 residential units, including family and senior housing awarded, under construction or open in North Carolina, South Carolina, and Tennessee.
